Information – What you should know Timetable
10am–1pm | Instruction | Each instructor has their own room for teaching their group Viola and bass players learn the same material as the four violin and woodwind groups No matter how tired you are the instruction will always begin at 10am. If you are late, don’t bother coming in |
1pm–2pm | Lunch | |
2pm–4pm | Rest | Highly recommended especially for those who were up until the small hours “practicing”...for the instructors too |
4pm–7pm | Instruction | Each instructor with their group in their own room Viola and bass players learn the same material as the four violin and woodwind groups |
7pm–8pm | Dinner | |
8pm–9pm | Short Rest | |
9pm–11pm | Jam Session | This is usually the highlight of the day with participants playing the songs that they learnt throughout the day together as a group. Each instructor stands in front of their group and helps each member as well as playing themselves. By the end of the camp, the repertoire is so extensive that this session may last until midnight.
