Professional Summary:
Born in Szekszárd, I grew up in Medina. My early years included active participation in folk music clubs, winning several regional and national competitions. I studied music at Garay János High School and took singing and piano lessons at Liszt Ferenc Music School. I began learning folk music and viola at the Babits Mihály Cultural Center with the Bartina Ensemble before institutional folk music education was established.

After high school, I prepared for the folk music teacher program at Nyíregyháza College with support from members of the Méta Ensemble at Nádasdy Kálmán Art School in Budapest, where I studied throughout college.

Since September 2001, I have been teaching folk music at the Bonyhád Music School. My students have won many national awards and several have pursued professional music studies at institutions in Vác, Székesfehérvár, and Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music.

I earned my Public Education Leadership qualification in June 2010.

In 1995, I founded the Csurgó Ensemble, awarded the Pro Urbe and Tolna County Prima prizes. We perform traditional Hungarian folk music and have achieved success at many domestic and international festivals. Since the early 2000s, I have focused on children’s education, leading folk music and dance movement classes in kindergartens with live music from the Csurgó Ensemble. My professional work has inspired several early childhood educator theses. I continue teaching and performing for children regularly.
